Tickets to watch the eight finalists of the 2020 Christmas edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) will be priced at P250 each. The festival’s organizer, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), has partnered with Globe Telecom and Upstream for the MMFF to still push through—despite the COVID-19 pandemic—with the two-week-long event that will be held “purely online.”
The Metro Manila Film Festival has partnered with Globe and Upstream for their 2020 edition, which they had earlier announced would be done completely online.Their partnership was announced at a press event on Friday, October 23. For this year’s festival, audiences can purchase virtual tickets through Globe’s GMovies, at the cost of P250 per film. They can then view films through streaming platform Upstream.
